Crofty Schools Raise Money for Children in Need

On Friday 15th November our schools raised over £2,500 for Children in Need. Many of the schools hosted non-school uniform days, whilst also organising special events and challenges.

These included:

  • Treloweth children and staff went to school dressed as their heroes – from superheroes like Batman and Wonder Woman, to local heroes, including firefighters, members of the ambulance service and police officers, and some children have even come in as their family members. They had a brilliant day whilst raising money to support this wonderful cause!
  • At Roskear the pupils travelled to BorneFit Community Fitness Centre to take part in their 150,000 reps for charity challenge. The children had to use medicine balls, complete body weight exercise and got to use elite equipment such as concept rowers, treadmills, bikes and ski-ergs. Not only did they complete more than 5000 repetitions / calories in total, but they also learned the values of exercise.
