It has been a very busy but fun half term for all children at Weeth, as we have been on several trips across the school. Year 3s visit to the Royal Cornwall MuseumYear 3 visited the Royal Cornwall Museum in June to learn some amazing facts based on their history topic of ancient Egyptians, they even got to see a real life mummy! Fantastic Sporting Achievements

It has been a hugely successful year for sport at Treloweth school: winning the Lockdown 3.0 Virtual School Games, the Together Again Cornwall Virtual School Games 2021 and gaining second place in the Cornwall Winter School Games. The children’s sporting efforts with their home learning went above and beyond our expectations too! Lanner Primary School is an anti-racist school. We treat everyone with love and respect, regardless of colour, race or gender. Today we presented every year 6 child with Marcus Rashford's 'inspirational guide' for young people. There has been much excitement in school this week as children and staff took part in The Race for Life. The event has become something of a tradition here at Pencoys and we were all very disappointed when it couldn’t take place last year. We were determined to find a way around things this year and decided to measure out the track on the school playground so that each year group bubble could take part over the course of a week.
