Dexter Thomas at Treloweth doing amazing things for charity again, currently raised £1,374 👍🏻On Sunday 23rd April, Dexter completed the intoTRI Triathlon sports event. He was entered into the children’s category – Micro Bat Scootathlon which is held at Carn Brea Leisure Centre.

Crofty PE leads & staff complete British Cycling Ride Leaders Award.
The award qualifies learners to deliver guided bike rides for groups of beginner and intermediate level adults and children on roads and cycle paths, for a distance of up to 50 miles 👍🏻

Nikita Archer, a year 4 teacher at Weeth, completed the Brighton marathon, on Sunday 2nd April. 

On the 11th January, children from across Pennoweth were able to help plant some new trees outside the front of the school.  Unfortunately some of our old trees had to be removed and so we had lots of space to fill!

On Monday 29th August, Dexter completed Bodmins mini Tri – The dragon. A children’s Duathlon to help raise awareness for his younger sister Frankie and raise much needed funds for the amazing, Daisy Garland charity.

At Treloweth, we have been incredibly enthusiastic about supporting ‘Go Cornish’ in trying to revive the Cornish language in primary schools.

The Year 6 children from Lanner went to London.

Oak Class created their own films linked to their work on Anglo Saxons. They then had an award ceremony (The Oakscars!) After walking down the red carpet, they premiered their films and received awards. The hoodies are now part of their PE uniform and the children absolutely love wearing them. They feature the slogan ‘In This Together’ along with our logo and #TeamPennoweth.
