Making our Community Bloom

This half term, pupils from years 3 and 5 at Weeth school went out into the community with Coastline to plant bulbs. Year 3’s were able to use the knowledge they had gained in their Science topic ‘Plants’ to ensure that the were providing the bulbs with the right growing environment. Year 5’s linked it to their PSHE where they looked at respecting their community and other’s beliefs. Both classes are very much looking forward to returning to the areas in a few months’ time where they hope to find an abundance of beautiful flowers to brighten up Camborne and make the residents smile.
