Our school is a small, country school, established in 1878, and is situated just over a mile from the centre of Helston. We have a dedicated team of friendly staff and are lucky to have extensive grounds with stunning views. Our school is the centre of our friendly community and welcomes pupils from a large area including those from rural farms and hamlets to urban houses. Many families choose Trannack for our small class sizes, high standards, caring, family ethos and our commitment to educating each child as an individual.
The staff at Trannack work hard to ensure standards in English and maths are high whilst maintaining a broad and balanced curriculum for all. Units of work are themed to allow meaningful cross curricular links and the children enjoy a variety of class trips to support their learning; we incorporate our grounds into the curriculum where possible and encourage outdoor learning. We are very proud of the academic, social and personal achievements of all the pupils.
We believe that happy staff ensures happy pupils who are motivated to learn.
Should you wish to visit our school then please contact us. You will be most welcome.
