Accessing your Email on Windows Devices

We recommend that you access your email on an Windows device using 1 of the following 2 different methods:

Accessing you account using Outlook Online

  1. Go to https://www.office.com/ in your web browser
  2. Click the red Sign in button on the screen – If you are already signed in with a personal account then you will have to sign out of it.
  3. Enter your Crofty email address in the box and select the Next button
  4. Enter your password and select the Sign in button
  5. If you are prompted for multi-factor authentication then verify your identity.
  6. You can choose to reduce your login on the next pop up window if you wish
  7. Select the Outlook symbol from the list on the left hand side of the page.
  8. Outlook Online will now open showing your email.

If you have got a personal account it is easier to switch between this and the Crofty account once they have both been signed into for the first time.

Adding your account using the Outlook Desktop Program

The Outlook desktop program is one that has to be purchased either personally or by your company so you may not have access to it. If you do then you can add the Crofty account by following these steps:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select the File tab and select the Add Account
  3. Enter your Crofty email address and select the Connect button
  4. If prompted, enter your password again, then select OK > Finish
  5. If you are prompted for multi-factor authentication then verify your identity.

You should now be able to see your emails in Outlook. The Crofty account will appear seperately within the left hand window under any accounts already added.
