Mrs Loake’s tireless efforts have significantly enhanced our school environment and fostered a sense of community spirit. Here are some of the remarkable ways in which she has mad a positive impact:

  1. Sensory Garden Creation – Mrs Loake spearheaded the development of a beautiful sensory garden within our school grounds. This serene space not only provides a peaceful retreat for students and staff but also serves as an educational resource for sensory experiences.
  2. Garden Club Leadership – As the driving force behind our gardening club, she has inspired pupils to connect with nature, learning about horticulture and developing green thumbs. Her enthusiasm and guidance have encouraged young gardeners to explore planting, nurturing and sustainable practices.
  3. Grounds Upkeep – Mrs Loake’s commitment to maintaining our school grounds in commendable. She gives up her time to ensure that our outdoor spaces remain inviting, safe and aesthetically pleasing. Her attention to detail and regular upkeep contribute significantly to the overall ambiance of our grounds.
  4. Community Gardening Days – Mrs Loake actively organises community gardening days, inviting parents, pupils, staff, carers and grandparents to participate. These collaborative efforts not only beautify our surroundings but also strengthen community bonds. Her leadership in these events fosters a sense of shared responsibility and pride.

The school has achieved Level 4 in the RHS School Gardening Award due to all of her efforts.
