Val Walker

Val is an extremely kind, thoughtful and valuable member of the team at Rosemellin – particularly in KS1.

After over 25 years of working at Rosemellin she is still keen to develop new skills, most recently learning to use technology in the classroom while covering classes and being the Queen of Read, Write Inc.

She is always the first to offer help and support to others, she is flexible, knowledgeable and always willing the children to do their best.

Outside of the classroom she organises and teaches the Trevithick day dance every year, as well as dancing herself.

She does everything with a smile and it is a joy to work with her everyday.
