Pennoweth are delighted that the installation of outdoor PE equipment took place earlier this month. In total, there are eight pieces of equipment that children (and staff when everyone has gone home!) are able to use to keep fit whilst having lots of fun! The equipment has been timetabled in for all year groups and gives them lots of opportunities to try out the new equipment, have fun and get fit!

Pasty Day at Portreath

Portreath School believes that it’s important for children to have knowledge of the local culture and history and this is something weaved through their ‘Growing Strong Roots Curriculum’. Weeth Prefects visit Residential Homes

Each year at Christmas our Year 6 Prefects like to help spread some joy and Christmas spirit around our local community by visiting several local residential homes to sing Christmas carols.  This is not only a poignant event for the residents but also plays an important role for our children who rehearse and look forward to this each year.
